Rules
Followtop is a public follow leaderboard. There are no ads, no API keys, and no revenue share. You pay to stand above everyone else. Rank is the bid - nothing else.
How ranking works
- New listings are whole US dollars, $1 minimum, $999,999 maximum, $1 at a time. Bids already on the board keep their amount until they raise or get outranked.
- Taking #1 costs $1 more than the current top bid. Paying less still puts you on the board at whatever rank that bid can take. Equal bids stay in the order they were placed - the older bid keeps the higher rank.
- Enter the same platform and @handle again to raise that listing. The new bid must be at least $1 above your current bid; you only pay the difference. If you paid $5 and #1 is now $25, taking it back costs $20. Someone else cannot take your rank by paying that difference.
What you can list
- A public handle on X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Twitch, LinkedIn, GitHub, Telegram, Snapchat, Reddit, Kick, a Discord invite or user, or a website. The Follow button opens that profile or link.
- You can add up to three extra links with a bid. Leave them blank on a raise and the old ones stay. Blank on a new listing means no extra links.
- Private chats and random invite spam in the pitch are not allowed. List a public profile, Discord server, or site.
- Sexual content is not allowed.
After you pay
- Your listing is public. Follow taps are counted once per visitor when they open Follow from this board. We cannot see whether they finished following on the other site - those sites do not tell us.
- A completed payment is what claims the rank. In demo mode, the bid is simulated so you can try the loop.
- Last activity updates when you raise your bid or when someone taps Follow from here for the first time.
Before you pay
- The payment buys a public spot. It does not buy the handle, an audience, or a share of Followtop.
- Rank updates only after the payment clears. Until then nothing moves.
- We do not refund a completed bid unless the law requires it.
- Spam, scams, and illegal listings get pulled.
- Followtop is not run by, or tied to, the social networks on this board.
